Description: mips64emul is a MIPS machine emulator. The goals are to emulate a MIPS CPU and enough surrounding hardware to fake a real machine, capable of running real (unmodified) operating systems, such as NetBSD, Linux, Ultrix, Irix, or OpenBSD. The emulator might also be of interest for academic purposes, such as learning how to write an OS for a MIPS based machine, or profiling SMP, memory usage, or system call patterns.
